SwiftWing PDB-14S – 8S–14S High Voltage Power Distribution Board with 5V & 12V Regulators

The SwiftWing PDB-14S is a high-voltage power distribution board designed for 8S–14S LiPo systems, built for heavy-lift UAVs, industrial drones, and high-power robotics platforms.

It combines high-current power distribution with integrated 5V and 12V buck regulators, reducing wiring complexity and eliminating the need for external BEC modules in most setups.

Built on a 4-layer PCB with 2 oz copper, the board features enlarged high-current pads for improved current handling, lower resistance, and better thermal performance in demanding applications.

Integrated Power Regulation

The onboard buck converters provide:

  • 5V output for flight controllers, receivers, and sensors
  • 12V output for FPV systems, VTX, and payload electronics

Outputs are regulated slightly above nominal values to maintain stable voltage under load.

Optional Input Capacitor

The board includes a footprint for an external input capacitor to improve stability under high current conditions.

Recommended:

  • 220–470 µF
  • ≥100V rating
  • Low-ESR electrolytic capacitor

This is especially useful for long battery leads or aggressive throttle profiles.


Assembly & Usage Notes

  • Direct soldering is recommended for high-current applications
  • Use appropriately rated wires and connectors
  • Ensure correct polarity before powering the system
