Installation & Assembly

Q4: Are connectors or a capacitor included with the board?

No. The PDB-6S is supplied as a bare PCB only. XT60/XT30 connectors and the external input capacitor shown in some images are for illustration purposes and are not included.

An external 330–470 µF, ≥50V low-ESR capacitor is recommended for high-current builds or long battery leads but is optional.

Q5: Can I solder battery and ESC wires directly?

Yes. Direct wire soldering is fully supported and recommended for high-current applications. Using appropriate wire gauge and proper soldering technique ensures reliable performance.

Performance & Safety

Q6: Does this board really support 120A?

Yes. The PCB is designed to support up to 120A total ESC distribution under proper wiring and cooling conditions. Note that external connectors (e.g., XT60 or XT30) may limit system current.

Q7: Is this board suitable for high-power racing or industrial drones?

Yes. The 4-layer, 2 oz copper PCB design provides low voltage drop and improved thermal performance for demanding multirotor applications.

Q8: Does it have reverse polarity protection?

No. Reverse polarity protection is not provided. Always verify battery polarity before powering the board.
